ACTE and SPN have combined the strengths of both organizations to provide individual educators and schools a variety of forums to network with each other, gain access to successful practices, develop and share high quality academically integrated lesson plans, and participate in online instruction via an interactive and easy to search website.
The Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE) is the largest national education association dedicated to the advancement of education that prepares youth and adults for careers. ACTE serves as the voice of the career and technical education educator in all policy and advocacy aspects. The individuals and institutions who are members of ACTE receive access to information, resources, professional development and tools that enable them to remain relevant and aligned with the education and workforce systems.
The Successful Practices Network (SPN) is a not-for-profit membership organization that supports a network of individual educators and member schools committed to building national model schools of excellence. In this period of declining resources, SPN serves as a cost effective and sustainable way for K-12 educators to connect with each other as they identify and share instructional practices. SPN and our members are committed to rigor and relevance for all learners, with a focus on enhancing student engagement and improving student achievement.
